Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner is working as Assistant Executive Officer in Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Vari Devastanam, Srikalahasti. He is aggrieved by the order of suspension, dated 05.11.2016.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel representing the 1st respondent - Devastanam, agreed for disposal of the Writ Petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to hold an enquiry into the allegations and complete the disciplinary proceedings, if so desired, within a reasonable time. 4.

Since the order of suspension, dated 05.11.2016, is hardly 21⁄2 months old and the matter is at the at the stage of enquiry, I am inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the 1st respondent - Devastanam to hold enquiry into the allegations, if so desired, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six months. If for any reason, the disciplinary proceedings, if any, could not be completed within the time granted, the 1st respondent shall review the desirability of further continuation of suspension. The petitioner shall cooperate for early disposal of the disciplinary action.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
