THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1527 of 2014 ORDER :

Contending that though a representation was submitted to the District Collector on 21.02.2013, seeking to delete the land in Survey No.168/F of Dinnedevarapadu Village, Kurnool Mandal, from the list of prohibited properties, no orders are passed, the writ petition is instituted. By order dated 18.03.2014 the writ petition was disposed of directing the District Collector, Kurnool-2nd respondent to consider the representation and to pass appropriate orders.

2. The District Collector, Kurnool filed counter. In Para No.5 of the Counter affidavit it is stated that in accordance with the direction issued by this Court, a report was submitted to the Commissioner & Inspector General of Registration & Stamps, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, recommending to delete the land to an extent of Ac.8.80 cents in Survey No.168/F from the list of prohibited properties and to permit registration of alienation of properties. It is further stated in Para No.6 that accordingly, the Commissioner & Inspector General of Registration & Stamps, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, issued orders on 29.10.2014 de-notifying the above survey number and extent from the prohibited list and allowed for registration.

4. Having regard to the same, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Contempt Case shall stand closed.
