O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring that the 1st respondent has no power to appoint Trust Board to Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Tirumalgiri, Krishna District and for a consequential direction to setaside G.O.Rt.No.362, Revenue (Endowments-IV) Department dated 28.02.2009 as it is violative of Section 15(1) of the Act 30/1987.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Smt K. Lalitha learned Standing counsel for respondents submits that as per Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1966 the constitution of Trust Board is for a period of two years only, as such by efflux of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and has become infructuous.

Recording the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Any interim order granted earlier shall stand vacated. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
