ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in seizing 33.72 quintals of rice belonging to the petitioner under the cover of panchanama on 17.03.2009 as arbitrary and illegal. The petitioner sought for the consequential relief of release of the seized stock.
At the hearing, Mr.Balaji Medamalli, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the cause in the writ petition has become infructuous.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 07.04.2009 in W.P.M.P.No.9382 of is vacated and W.P.M.P.No.9382 of 2009 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
