Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 5. 2.
Petitioner alleges that there is wrong mutation of names in the revenue records, on land to an extent of Ac.1-16 guntas in Sy.No.185 of Nedunoor Village, Kandukur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. Having come to know that certain wrong entries were made in the revenue records by deleting the name of petitioner and including the names of unofficial respondents, petitioner claim to have preferred appeal, under Section 5 (5) of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Alleging that the said appeal is not disposed of till date, this writ Petition is filed.
copy of the appeal along with acknowledgement stated to have been given by the office of Revenue Divisional Officer, on 16.12.2019 is filed as Ex.P.1. 3.
Since the appeal is filed on 16.12.2019, it cannot be said that there is inordinate delay in disposing of the appeal, therefore, no positive direction can be given to the petitioner. 4.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the appellate authority to dispose of the appeal, expeditiously, by affording due opportunity to the petitioner and the unofficial respondents, who are parties before him. If there is inordinate delay in disposing of the appeal, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedies, as available in law.
