THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.614 of 2016 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 03.03.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.8777 of 2016 in W.P.No.6895 of 2016. By the said order, this Court directed the respondent authorities therein not to interfere with the subject lands unless the due procedure laid down by law is complied with. Sri E.V.V.S.Ravi Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, addressed letter dated 10.11.2017 to the Registry stating that the matter in dispute has been settled out of Court.

In that view of the matter, as the dispute itself does not survive for consideration, the contempt case also does not warrant adjudication on merits.
