THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5062 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner- accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.193 of 2012 on the file of the Balanagar Police Station, Hyderabad. Heard and perused the material available on record. The petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 IPC. The allegations against the petitioner are that he cheated the de facto complainant by forging the signatures of the de facto complainant on the blank cheques and misappropriated an amount of Rs.1,50,00,000/-. The allegations leveled against the petitioner are so serious in nature.

Hence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation against the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________ RAJA ELANGO, J April 12, 2016.
