This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of The Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C) seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 & 2 in C.C.No.4774 of 2018, on the file of the learned XXV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Kukatpally, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 427 read with 34 of lPC, 2.

None appeared for the petitioners on call. lt was observed from the Proceedings Sheet that on the last date of listing the matter i.e., on 02.02.2026, there was no representation for the petitioners for the past so many occasions while the counsel for respondent ,/

No.2 reported no instructions from his client. Thus, the matter was ordered to be posted under the caption ,For Dismissal, to this day. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. lt appears that the petitioners have no interest in prosecuting the case. 3.

Hence, the Criminal petition is dismissed for non_prosecution with a liberty to the petitioners to seek appropriate remedies according to law in case the cause of action survives.
