2. Petitioners' grievance is that respondents 2 to 4 are not receiving and entertaining the document presented by them for registration with regard to the lands in question.

3. It is well settled that even before presentation of a document, registering authority cannot refuse or reject the document and in the matters of this nature, this Court has been directing the Registrar to receive and process the documents in accordance with law on examining the same under the Indian Stamp Act and the Indian Registration Act. Liberty is also

left to respondents 2 to 4 that if they are not satisfied with registering of the documents, they shall pass appropriate reasoned order under Section 71 of the Indian Registration Act.

4. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to receive and process the documents presented by the petitioners relating to the aforesaid lands and thereafter take appropriate steps as indicated above. Respondent Nos.2 to 4 shall also furnish the Certificate of Market Value in respect of the lands in question. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
