SMT JUSTICE T. RAJANI M.A.C.M.A. No.501 of 2008 JUDGMENT:

This appeal is preferred by the appellant, who is respondent No.2 before the Court below, assailing the judgment of the I Additional District Judge, Chittoor in O.P. No.496 of 2003 dated 12.10.2007 on the ground that excessive compensation was awarded by the Court below.

Heard both the counsel.

Learned Standing Counsel for appellant contends that the compensation awarded by the lower Court is excessive but he did not raise any supporting grounds.

The Court below took the income of the deceased, who is an advocate with eight years of standing as Rs.5,000/ - per month, which, on the face of it, can be termed as only low but not excessive.

Hence, absolutely there is no reason to interfere with the judgment of the lower Court.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
