This Criminal Petition is filed under section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in CC.No. 16 of 2008 on the file of the Court of IIAdditional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad.

2. When the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal", Sri Wasim Ahmed Khan, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present criminal petition.
