THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2019 in/and Criminal Petition No.314 of 2019 ORDER :

The petitioners are the A.1 to A.3, son and his parents respectively, in C.C.No.85 of 2018 on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, outcome of Cr.No.700 of 2016 of Women Police Station, CCS, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the defacto-complainant/2nd respondent none other than wife of the A.1. The petition I.A.No.1 of 2019 filed by A.3-Ahmed Sayeed Khan, father of the A.1, to permit General Power of Attorney (for short, 'GPA') to represent his son/A.1, is allowed.

The A.2 and A.3 and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2019 to compromise the matter and compound the offence. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.1 to 3 of 2019 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed by quashing the proceedings against the petitioners/accused persons in C.C.No.85 of 2018 on the file of the XIII Addl.Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. The petitioners/A.1 to A.3 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
