THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.4028 of 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed complaining the inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent in not passing the orders directing the 3rd respondent to release the seized stock i.e., 6795 Kgs., of black jaggery, seized in Cr.No.681/2016-17 of Prohibition & Excise Station, Rajahmundry-II.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise (Andhra Pradesh) submits that orders have been made on 07.02.2017 by the 2nd respondent and a copy of which has been made available to the learned counsel for the petitioner. As the orders have already been passed, this Writ Petition becomes infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given tot the petitioner to avail the alternative remedies as available in law against the order dated07.02.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent. No costs.
Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
