Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying that in the circumstances stated in the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to call for the records relating to C.C.No. 304 of 2015 on the file of Xlll Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, at Hyderabad and quash the same.

This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri K. Giridhar Raju, Advocate for the Petitioner and the Additionat Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of the Respondent No.2 not appearing in person or by Advocate.

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 7973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitionerAccused No.1 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.304 of 2015 pending on the file of XIII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 498-4 and 406 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case is of the year 2015 and there is no progress in the matter even though seven (07) years have passed.

Considering the submission of . learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the facts of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to dispose of the case as

Crl.Petition No.420 of 2021 expeditiously as possible within a period of four (04) months, in accordance with law by following the procedure under Section 309 OI LT. P.L.

Accordingly, the Criminal petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. SD/. V.
