Gnana Chary, Secbad v. A. Ashok, I.A.S., Hyd
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD CONTEMPT CASE No.1775 of 2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This Contempt Case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 04.8.2016 in so far as it pertained to Writ Petition No.959 of 2010. By the said order, the authorities were directed to act upon the order passed by the A.P. Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, in a batch of O.As. The issue pertained to the punishment imposed upon the petitioner. Learned Government Pleader for Services-I, State of Telangana, would now inform this Court that in compliance with the aforestated order, proceedings dated 12.3.
2018 have been issued by the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, State of Telangana, reducing the punishment imposed upon the petitioner to withholding of his annual grade increments with cumulative effect for two years. A copy of the said proceedings is placed on record. In that view of the matter, we find no evidence of any disobedience, much less willful disobedience, warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction.
The Contempt Case is accordingly closed. No order as to costs.
