HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.2667 OF 2014 ORDER:

The petitioner seeks writ of mandamus directing respondent No.4 to consider the representation dated 11.11.2013 of the petitioner - Society in respect of allotment of house site pattas and pass the necessary orders. 2.

The petitioners case is that the petitioner - Society made a representation on 29.04.2013 to the 4th respondent stating that there were about fifty members of the society mentioned in the writ petition residing in Gudur, who are poor and shelter less and they are unable to purchase house sites to have shelter and considering their eligibility, house sites may be allotted to them. Thereafter also petitions were filed before the 4th respondent. The last representation was made on 11.11.2013 to 3rd respondent i.e., Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudur. However, there is no action. Hence, the instant writ petition.

Learned Government Pleader for Assignment took notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. So far as unofficial respondent No.5 is concerned, learned counsel for petitioner would submit that he has no grievance against him. 4.

Having regard to the nature of the prayer, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to

consider the representation dated 11.11.2013 submitted by the petitioner-Society to the 3rd respondent and forwarded to the 4th respondent and pass an appropriate order on merits as per law within eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
