UMA DEVI WRIT PETITION No.12067 of 2018 ORDER: (Per V.Ramasubramanian, J) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition challenging the dismissal of their stay petition pending disposal of a regular first appeal.

2. Heard Mr. MVJK Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.S.Suribabu, learned Special Standing Counsel takes notice.

3. The issue raised in this writ petition is already covered by a decision of another Division Bench of this Court in W.P. No.44524 of 2016 dated 21.12.2016. Following the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to take any coercive steps for the recovery of the disputed tax on condition that the petitioner deposits 50% of the disputed tax within four (4) weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall be given credit for the amount already paid in this regard.

4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
