This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (tor short 'BNSS') by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 5 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.1125 of 2022 on the file of learned Principal Junior Civil Judge-cum-Judicial First Class Magistrate, Mulugu, Mulugu District.

Heard Sri Shiva Kumar Konne, learned counsel for petitioners and Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent No.1-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners restricted his arguments to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners. before the trial court.
