HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.1258 OF 2018 ORDER:

Heard Sri Shaik Karimulla, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Home, appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that, for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, he submitted a representation on 16.01.2017 to the 1st respondent - State Government but no action has been taken on the said representation despite the lapse of considerable length of time. During the course of arguments, request is made by learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action on the said representation, strictly in accordance with law. On the other hand, it is submitted by learned Government Pleader that, if any such application/representation is pending before the 1st respondent herein, the same will be verified and appropriate orders would be passed, as expeditiously as possible.

Recording the said submission of learned Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent herein to verify the representation dated 16.01.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action/pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall also stand disposed of AVSS,J W.P. No.1258/2018 in consequence.
