THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.8719 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents herein in not granting the special grade increment on completion of 12 years by counting the continuity of service from the date of initial appointment including the service rendered in Nizamabad Region as per the circular NO:PD-30/2005, dated; 4-6-2005 is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Law and the same is liable to be set-aside by this Hon'ble Court with all consequential benefits including granting of special grade increment after completion of 12 years from the date of initial appointment, re fixation of pay, payment of arrears."

Heard Sri P. Govinda Rajulu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A. Ravi Babu, learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner herein submitted a representation on 2505-2015 to the 2nd respondent herein and no orders have been passed on the said representation so far. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 25-05-2015, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe. The said request is not opposed by learned Standing Counsel for respondents and submitted that the said representation would be

considered, in accordance with law.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioner, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 25-05-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
