Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents.

According to petitioner land to an extent of Ac.1-00 in Sy.No.358 of Garmilla Village, Mancherial Mandal, Mancherial District, was in possession and enjoyment of father of petitioner by name Jadi Mallaiah and he was also granted pattedar pass books. While so, on 11.01.2019, the police constables of Mancherial Police Station came to his house and forcibly took him to the police station. By the time petitioner reached the police station, the 4th respondent was present and the 3rd respondent forced him to handover the land to 4th respondent within a week. This writ petition is filed praying to declare the action of respondents 3 and 4 in calling the petitioner to police station and threatening to settle the land dispute, thereby causing interference in civil disputes, as illegal. 3.

Learned Government pleader, produced the original record which contain FIR No.21 of 2019 registered on 18.01.2019, on the complaint given by one K. Ravi Kumar S/o.Linga Murthy. On 21.01.2019 a notice under Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure was issued informing the petitioner that investigation into the crime had revealed involvement of petitioner in the above crime and hence directed the petitioner to appear before him and to produce sufficient sureties for releasing him on bail.

Having regard to these facts, it cannot be said that the respondent-authorities are illegally calling the petitioner to police station as sought to be contended. I see no merit in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
