HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 4103 of 2017 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 47 of 2017 of Mellachervu Police Station, Suryapet District, registered for the offences under Sections 420 IPC and Section 3(1) (r) (s) SC & ST (POA) Amendment Act, 2015. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 05.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Mellacheruvu Police Station, Suryapet District and submitted that investigation is completed and charge sheet was filed before Judicial First Class Magistrate, Huzurnagar and CC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 47 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
