HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.No.7894 of 2015 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.7942 of 2015 COMMON ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.4 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Lakshettipet, for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 427, 290 and 323 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989 (for short, 'the Act').

2. Pending the criminal petition, both parties filed Crl.M.P.No.7894 of 2015 along with joint memo and affidavits of the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant and victim stating that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and, therefore, to accord permission to compound the above offences.

3. Most of the offences are compoundable even with the permission of the Court but for the offences under Section 3(1)(x) of the Act. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they have amicably settled the matter to purchase peace. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with the petitioners/A.1 to A.4.

4. Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.No.7894 of 2015 is allowed. Consequently, the criminal petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to P.R.C.No.4 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Lakshettipet, are quashed against the petitioners/A.1 to A.4. The bail bonds of the petitioners/A.1 to A.4, if any, shall stand cancelled.

5. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
