THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1207 of 2019 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners is that the revenue authorities are not taking steps to regularize their unregistered Sale Deed (Sada Bainama) dated 04.07.2002 in relation to the land admeasuring Ac.1.02 guntas in Survey No.149/AA of Pothireddypally Village, Sangareddy Mandal, Sangareddy District.

The Government of Telangana issued G.O.Ms.No.153, Revenue (Assignment-I) Department, dated 03.06.2016 extending the time limit for regularization of Sada Bainamas under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, up to 15.06.2016. Admittedly, the petitioners made an application for such regularization on 10.06.2016.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would confirm, upon instructions, that the application was made by the petitioners within time.

If that is so, there is no reason why the Tahsildar, Sangareddy Mandal, Sangareddy District, should remain somnolent over the application so made.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Sangareddy Mandal, Sangareddy District, to take appropriate action on the application dated 10.06.2016 made by the petitioners in accordance with the due procedure and upon giving notice to the affected parties. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
