THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 31163 OF 2017 O R D E R:

Petitioner is one of the Chair Persons of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) at Amadalavalasa, Srikakulam District, appointed through G.O.Rt.No. 9, dated 12.02.2014 under Section 29 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2000 to dispose of cases for the care, protection, treatment, development and rehabilitation of children as well as to provide basic needs and protection of human rights. He has submitted the representation dated 14.07.2017 to the 1st respondent requesting to give necessary orders to release the amount towards arrears of CWCs and JJBs Honorarium of 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh, but so far, the same has not been considered. Hence, the Writ Petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader for Women Development & Child Welfare (Andhra Pradesh).

Since the grievance of the petitioner is non-consideration of the representation, suffice, in the interests of justice, if a direction is issued to consider the same within a time-frame. The Writ Petition is therefore, disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 14.07.2017 of the petitioner and take necessary steps thereon within 12 weeks' time. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
