Heard Sri S.Sharath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 and Sri Venkat Reddy Donthi Reddy, learned counsel for respondents 5 and 6 and with their consent the writ petition is disposed of.
2. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 2 to 4 in not taking action against respondents 5 to 7 under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977, on the basis of the complaint petitions submitted by the petitioner to respondents 2 to 4 and further to declare the documents bearing Nos.991/1974, 992/1974 and 993/1974, dated 01.10.1974, registered with the Sub-Registrar, Macherial, as wholly arbitrary and illegal and consequently, direct respondents 2 to 4 to immediately initiate proceedings under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977, and evict the respondents 5 to 7 from the property admeasuring Ac.14.08 Gts., of dry land in Sy.No.102 at Naspur Grampanchayat, Mancherial Mandal, Adilabad District.
3. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation, dated 12.04.2012, made by the petitioner at the earliest.
4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the
same may be directed to be disposed of.
5. Without going into the merits and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2-District Collector, Adilabad District, to dispose of the representation, dated 12.04.2012, in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR Date:28.12.2015 INL
