HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.41016 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the 1st respondent to file a final report in FIR No.13/RCA-TCT/2014.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that the 1st respondent registered the above case against the petitioner for the offence under Sections 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act alleging that the petitioner is having disproportioned assets. The above crime was registered in the year 2014. But final report has not been filed so far. 4.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"The 1st respondent is directed to complete the investigation and final a final report in the above crime, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law."

No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
