HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 25213 of 2009 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not registering and releasing the document presented by the petitioners in respect of land admeasuring Ac.1.70 cents in Survey No.290 situated at Gullepalli Village, Sabbavaram Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, as illegal and arbitrary.

On 20.11.2009, this Court, while issuing rule nisi, directed the 2nd respondent to register the document and release the same in favour of the petitioners, subject to the Stamps & Registration Act, within four weeks.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 20.11.2009, the 2nd respondent registered the document presented by the petitioners in respect of land admeasuring Ac.1.70 cents in Survey No.290 situated at Gullepalli Village, Sabbavaram Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, and released the same in favour of the petitioners.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders need be passed in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ petition shall also stand closed.
