Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an order, direction or Writ, more particularly Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to give protection to the petitioner's life, liberty and property from the 5th respondent or any one under the instructions of 5th respondent and direct the 5th respondent not to indulge in unlawful activities misusing his official capacity against the petitioners and direct the 1st respondent and 4th respondent to initiate action, against 5th respondent, pursuant to the representation dated 14.08.2014, in accordance with law, in the interest of justice and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstance of the case."

The learned Government Pleader placed on record the written instructions dated 11.09.2014 issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, S.R. Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad.

From a perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that as on the date of issuance of the written instructions, the respondent - police have not received any complaint from the petitioners against the respondent No.5.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that there are no merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel thereto, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
