THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.2700 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, grievance of the petitioners is that they complained to the second respondent - District Collector, Ranga Reddy, on 06.02.2017, through Prajavani, setting out specific instances of various omissions and commissions of the sixth respondent, who is the Sarpanch of Amangal Village, but the second respondent has not taken any action so far. Heard Sri Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Amangal Gram Panchayat and learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj Department.

Inasmuch as the petitioners specifically assert that as far back as on 06.02.2017, specific instances of omissions and commissions with respect to the Sarpanch have been brought to the notice of the second respondent, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to act upon the same within a period of eight (8) weeks, in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with respect to the allegations levelled against the sixth respondent.

CKR, J W.P.No.2700 of 2018 Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
