Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition in view of the fact that the petitioner along with his mother had already filed W.P.No.19425 of 2005 seeking the same relief i.e. compassionate appointment and this Court vide order dated 22.11.2007 had dismissed the said writ petition.

Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
