HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI I.A.No.3 of 2019 In/and CRIMINAL PETITION No. 280 of 2019 ORDER:
The petitioner, who is the sole accused, in Crime No.243 of 2011 of Sircilla Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 I.P.C. and Section 3 (i) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, filed this Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against him in the aforesaid crime. 2.
During pendency of the Criminal Petition, I.A.No.3 of 2019 came to be filed by the second respondent-de facto complainant to record the compromise. Along with the petition, a joint memo came to be filed, inter alia stating that at the intervention of elders and well wishers, the parties have settled their disputes in terms of the compromise. The said joint memo has been supported by the affidavit of the second respondent.

Today, both the parties are present before this Court and they are identified by their respective counsel. This Court, when examined, both the parties have stated that at the instance of the elders, they have settled the matter out of the Court and the second respondent has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioner. 4.
In the light of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the compromise memo filed by both the parties is recorded and I.A.No.3 of 2019 is ordered subject to both parties depositing costs of Rs.10,000/ - (Rupees ten thousand only) each in favour of High Court Legal Services Committee.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed in terms of compromise, and the proceedings in Crime No.243 of 2011 of Sircilla Police Station, Karimnagar District, against the present petitioneraccused are hereby quashed.
