HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.42046 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner states that he is the absolute owner and possessor of agricultural land admeasuring Acs.3.27 cents in Survey No.565/1 of Duddukuru Revenue Village, Inkollu Mandal of Prakasam District. He made an application, dated 21.09.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds and paid the requisite fee. Alleging that no action is taken by the Tahsildar, Inkollu Mandal, Prakasam District, the 3rd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

In view of the fact that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 21.09.2015, and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
