Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.
The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: "...to issue a Writ or Order or Direction, especially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in prescribing condition of successful candidate being within "top 20 percentile of successful candidates in Class XII examination conducted by the respective boards in applicable categories" by Respondent No.
1 to 4 for admission into participating IIT's as arbitrary, unreasonable, unjust, unfair, discriminatory, biased and in violation of the petitioner fundamental rights guaranteed by Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to admit the petitioner into the courses offered by the IIT's & ISM, Dhanbad based on her preference and ranking in JEE (Advance)-2013 by setting aside seat cancellation letter dated 08.07.2013 issued by the 4th Respondent or in the alternative to declare the action of the Respondent No.
petitioner's fundamental rights guaranteed by Article 14 & 21 of the Constitution of India and to direct the Respondent No.3 to 6 to admit the petitioner into the B.Tech Courses into the IIT's & ISM Dhanbad based on her ranking in JEE (Advanced)-2013 by setting aside seat cancellation letter dated 08.07.2013 issued by the 4th Respondent."

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 would submit that in the light of the order sought in the Writ Petition, no further cause would survive in the present Writ Petition and hence, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 4.
Taking into consideration the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
