Heard Mr. K. Venumadhav, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mr. V. Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

This Contempt Case is filed by the petitioner against respondents, alleging wilful and deliberate violation of the order passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.32481 of 2017, dated 06.10.2017. 3.
Vide above order, the learned Single Judge disposed of the writ petition by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Circle-V, Sardarmahal, Charminar, Hyderabad / respondent No.4 therein to verify and take appropriate action on the representation dated 18.09.2017 submitted by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law after giving notice to all stakeholders.

Alleging wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by the learned Single Judge, the present Contempt Case came to be filed by the petitioner against the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in pursuance to the order passed by the learned Single Judge, the respondents have partly complied with the order passed by the learned Single Judge, and the respondents have given assurance to the petitioner that they would remove all illegal constructions; therefore, the petitioner do not want to pursue the present contempt case; and therefore, submitted that the present contempt case may be closed by giving liberty to the petitioner to revive the contempt case in the event the respondents do not take action for removal of illegal constructions.

In view of above submissions, the present contempt case is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the contempt case in case any cause survives therein. No costs.
