THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Writ Petition Nos.3054 & 3055 of 2010 COMMON ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The proceedings under challenge in these writ petitions are the show cause notices dated 02.02.2010 whereby the petitioner was directed to show cause why tax should not be collected from him. The petitioner claims to have submitted his reply to the show cause notices. It is his case that on account of the pendency of these writ petitions, no orders have been passed thereupon.

We consider it appropriate, therefore, to dispose of both these writ petitions directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's reply to the show cause notices and to pass fresh orders thereupon at the earliest, and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Both the Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
