THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.783 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant anticipatory bail to him in an unregistered crime. Heard and perused the material available on record. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are matrimonial disputes between the petitioner and his wife and recently, the petitioner received a call from the Women Police Station, Hyderabad and that the police informed that the wife of the petitioner lodged a complaint against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that no case was registered against the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought by the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court for appropriate relief, if any notice is served on him under Section 41A Cr.P.C.
