Vemana Weaker Section Colony Welfare Association, v. State Of Telangana,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY Writ Petition No.14324 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in initiating action to demolish the residential houses belonging to the members of the Petitioner-Association in an extent of 10 acres in Sy.Nos.252 & 253 of Chandanagar Village, Ranga Reddy District, without issuing any notice, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
3. Perused the material on record. The writ affidavit does not contain the details of the members of the Association and to what extent each member had occupied and what is the common grievance of the petitioner-Association. But they only say that the members of the Association occupied 10 acres of Government land and they are in possession of the same since 15 years by constructing houses therein. The writ affidavit is very vague. Since the writ petition does not contain the particulars of each member of the Association and their common grievance, this court is not inclined to grant any relief as sought by the petitioner-Association. The writ petition is devoid of merit and the same is liable to be dismissed.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, it is open for the individual members of the Association to agitate their grievance independently. No order as to costs.
5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
