HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE WRIT PETITION Nos. 5293, 5567, 5582, 5593, 5599 and 5614 of 2016 PC:

Sri Mohd. Asifuddin, learned counsel holding for Sri M. Rama Rao, advocate on record for the petitioners, in view of the subsequent developments, prays for withdrawal of these writ petitions with liberty to the petitioners to file fresh writ petitions raising challenge to the elections as well as merging of the Grampanchayats into Municipalities. Learned Government Pleader has no objection for allowing the petitioners to withdraw the writ petitions with liberty as prayed. He, however, submits that all contentions of the respondents may be kept open.
