The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the second respondent in issuing proceedings dated 20.12.2018 cancelling the results of the IV Semester, both theory and practical, examination of the petitioner and directing the petitioner to take the said Semester exam as a backlog without conducting proper enquiry and without following the principles of natural justice, as being illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard Sri A.Satya Prasad, learned senior counsel representing Sri Buddarapu Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri A.Jagannatha Rao, learned standing counsel for respondents 1 to 3. None appeared for the fourth respondent.

Sri A.Satya Prasad, learned senior counsel, submits that subsequent to the issuance of the impugned proceedings by the second respondent, wherein the result of the IV Semester, both theory and practical, examination of the petitioner held in August, 2018 was cancelled, the petitioner was permitted to appear in the next backlog (Semester) examination. Learned senior counsel further submits that the petitioner had taken the backlog (Semester) exam held in November, 2019 along with the VI Semester examination pursuant to the orders of this Court, whereby the petitioner was permitted to write IV Semester as well as VI Semester examination. Learned senior counsel submits that the results in respect of the backlog exam as well as the VI Semester exam are not yet announced.

Sri Ch.Jagannatha Rao, learned standing counsel for respondents 1 to 3, submits that the result of the petitioner in respect of the backlog exam as well as the VI Semester exam would be announced along with the result of other candidates who have taken examination of the IV Semester as well as VI Semester. Learned standing counsel further submits that depending on the outcome of the result, the students will be permitted to take practical exam.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 that the results of the petitioner would be declared along with the other candidates, who have taken examination, no further orders are need be passed in the writ petition.
