HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:
Petitioner is a Committee. They intend to protest in a democratic manner on the long felt demand for formation of a separate district as Huzurabad district. Petitioner claims that they submitted representation dated 06.01.2019 to the Commissioner of Police, Karimnagar to grant permission to organize relay hunger strikes in support of their demand for formation of Huzurabad district in seven locations mentioned in the representation. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed.

Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that representation was submitted and the petitioner has proof of submission of representation in the form of a photograph taken on that day.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that no such request was received by the Commissioner of Police. 4.
Without entering into this controversy, I deem it proper to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the petitioner to enclose a copy of the representation dated 16.01.2019 along with copy of this order and submit the same to the Commissioner of Police, Karimnagar. On receipt of such representation, the Commissioner of Police shall consider the request of petitioner, may seek any clarification if required and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. In the event of Commissioner of Police accepting the request to permit the petitioner-committee to conduct hunger
strike in all seven places or any of the places as mentioned in the representation, it is also permissible to the Commissioner of Police to impose conditions as required to maintain peace and tranquility and to avoid untoward incident. A decision to that effect shall be taken within one week from the date of submission of the order of this Court along with the representation.
In the event Commissioner of Police seeks any clarification, the same should be furnished by the petitioner. On furnishing such clarification, the order shall be passed within one week thereon. 5.
Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
