Petitioner prays for Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 3 to 6 in not taking steps to consider petitioner's candidature for appointment as fair price shop dealer of Shop No.38, S.C. Colony, Godavrru Village, Chebrolu Mandal, Guntur District and not considering representations dated 07.10.2016 and 18.10.2016 as illegal, arbitrary and amounts to refusing to exercise the jurisdiction conferred on the fifth respondent.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3.

On 07.10.2016 and 18.10.2016, representations are made for consideration of petitioner's case under G.O.Ms.No.4 Consumer Affairs Food and Civil Supplies (CS.I) Department dated 19.02.2011. The case of petitioner, it is not disputed, is required to be considered as per the policy decision set out in G.O.Ms.No.4 dated 19.02.2011 and expeditious consideration would provide necessary succor to petitioner. The Court is satisfied that the writ petition can be disposed of by this order:

a) Petitioner is given liberty to resubmit the copy of representations dated 07.10.2016 and 18.10.2016 to the fifth respondent by enclosing copy of this order within four (4) weeks from today.

b) The fifth respondent, on receipt of representations of petitioner, is directed to consider the representations in accordance with the extant policy and communicate orders within eight (8) weeks thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
