O R D E R

This writ petition was filed assailing the letter dated 27.10.2004 of the Chief Engineer, Operations & Maintenance, Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO), Lower Sileru Hydro Electric Scheme, Mothugudem, whereby it was informed that the petitioners' cases for appointment were rejected. Admittedly, the petitioners earlier approached this Court by way of W.P.No.12573 of 2004. The said writ petition was disposed of by order dated 10.09.2004. Perusal of the order reflects that the claim of the petitioners was that they were entitled to be absorbed in the service of the APGENCO as they had earlier worked as casual labour. This Court, taking note of the complaint that the APGENCO had not passed any order on their representations, disposed of the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders as per rules. This Court further observed that if the representations made by the petitioners were already disposed of, no further orders need be passed.

Under the impugned letter dated 27.10.2004, the APGENCO informed the earlier learned counsel of the petitioners that their cases had been individually considered and rejected in the year 1998 itself. Reference was also made to the individual orders passed against each of the petitioners in July, 1998. In the light of the said rejection, the

APGENCO informed that no further action was called for upon the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.12573 of 2004. The aforestated action of the APGENCO is fully in accordance with the order dated 10.09.2004 passed by this Court in W.P.No.12573 of 2004. In the light thereof, this Court finds no reason to interfere at this stage. The writ petition is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
