Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader and learned counsel for the fourth respondent. The third respondent issued a Notification on 01.05.2017 calling for applications for filling up a vacancy of fair price shop No.45 of Sadasivapuram Village, Yerpedu Mandal, Chittoor District, on permanent basis. Written Test and Interviews were conducted on 16.05.2017 and 30.05.2017 respectively. The petitioner was selected as a fair price shop dealer by proceedings dated 24.06.2017. She deposited an amount of Rs.7,500/- towards trade deposit. The fourth respondent, who also appeared along with the petitioner, lodged a complaint before the second respondent alleging procedural irregularities in selecting the petitioner.
The second respondent took it up as an Appeal and stayed the proceedings of the third respondent dated 24.06.2017 by his proceedings, dated 03.07.2017. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed. In the impugned order, it is stated that the connected records and remarks are called from the appointing authority, i.e., Sub Collector, Tirupati, and it takes some time to observe and finalise the issue. Till then, the operation of the order of the Sub Collector, Tirupati, dated 24.06.2017 is stayed, pending decision by him.
within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
