It is the case of the petitioner that he filed appeal along with stay petition under Section 4-A(1) of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 against the orders dated 19-02-2016 in Roc.No.383-1/2015(A)-13 passed by the 3rd respondent and the same is not disposed of by the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard both sides.

In view of facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the stay petition/appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till disposal of the appeal, there shall be stay of eviction of petitioner from the subject property. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
