HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 12619 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in issuing G.O.Ms.No.21 dated 10.02.2003 as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to 3rd and 4th respondents not to implement the G.O. as it was issued against the interest of public and also inconsistent with the M.V. Act, 1988 and Industrial Disputes Act, 1950. The record discloses that while admitting the writ petition, no interim direction was granted. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the entrustment of functions of conductor by issuing tickets through Ticket Issuing Machines, they are at liberty to submit a representation to the respondents within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon receiving such a representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with the rules, in four weeks thereafter.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 17th December, 2018 cbs
