ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: ".....to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondent authorities in giving electricity connection to the petitioner's premises bearing H.No.2-6-94, Jaipuri Colony, Nagole, Uppal, R.R.District in spite of receiving the requisite amount vide acknowledgement dt 17.11.2015 followed by personal visits as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Heard Sri K.Krishna Kishore, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has paid the requisite amount and satisfied all the terms and conditions for grant of electricity connection, the respondents are not giving the same.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of electricity connection.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents contended that since the petitioner has not
produced the original sale deed of the premises, the respondents have rightly denied electricity connection. It is further contended that if the petitioner is willing to execute indemnity bond, the respondents shall consider his case and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to execute indemnity bond as per terms and conditions for supply of electricity and after paying the requisite fee, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
