Petitioner is seeking appointment as Village Revenue Assistant, in the services of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Since the grievance of the petitioner is employment in the State government service of State of Andhra Pradesh, petitioner has to invoke the jurisdiction of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (for short 'the APAT'), constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. The APAT is the Court of first instance dealing with the service disputes.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
