THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.8398 of 2016

ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A2 to A6, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.41 of 2016 of Chandangar Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C., against them.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. As seen from the complaint, it is evident that there are certain allegations against the petitioners. Truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioners in the complaint can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the impugned proceedings. However, the police concerned are directed to proceed with the investigation without arresting the petitioners/A2 to A6. The petitioners/A2 to A6 are directed to appear before the investigating agency, as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency.

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
