THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.53O OF 2023 ORDER:

This Crimirral Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short'Cr.P.C.) by the petitionerAccused to quash the proceedings against him in FIR No.1897 of 2022 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Rajendranagar Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, filed for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 420 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC').

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner - Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.

The 2nd respondent - de facto complainant filed a complaint I I stating that she was acquainted with the petitioner several years prior to her filing of complaint. It is alleged that the 2nd respondent had emotionally, spiritually and also supported the petitioner with money. However, the petitioner is now trying to marry someone else.

In the facts of the case, it appears that the present case is o one of differences between the 2nd respondent and petitioner. 5.

Keeping in view that there is no specific allegation attracting any of the ingredients under Section 420 of lPC, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Investigating Officer in respect of FIR No.1897 of 2022 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Rajendranagar Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, to conclude the investigation without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner - Accused. Further, the petitioner - Accused shall cooperate with the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
